I've been using Motions CPR Treatment (the one with the seeds).. for over a year now.  I read somewhere that you shouldn't leave it in your hair for more than 15 minutes, which is what is on the directions.  However, I've been leaving the treatment in my hair for longer than 15 minutes.  Sometimes hours on end, with a conditioning cap on.  Am I damaging my hair?

I use Motions CPR and I typically leave it on for 20-25 mins without problems.  I have been using it for over a year aswell.

Since this is a protien conditioner (a mild/moderate) one, I would not advise leaving it on for hours on end, as you stated, niether would I leave it on for more that 30 mins.  If you wish to deep condition for hours on end, my suggestion would be to use a moisturizing deep conditioner.

I have noticed that if I leave CPR on for too long, my hair is kinda hard the rest of the week.  That may just be me though.

I've noticed that when I use it for a long while.. my hair feels almost too strong, and bland.  It certainly doesn't feel soft.  Thanks, I thought that feeling was normal, but then I figured, wait, this doesn't feel good!  I began deep conditioning for about 45 mins/no heat with Aussie Moist and KeraCare Oil, and it was pretty nice.  My hair is super soft now. Clap
