Excellent!

Yeah, I've had that happen several times too, where the docs are just spouting their training and they're saying the same stuff I tried 10 years ago that didn't work then and they don't even know about the things I found that do work, for plenty of conditions.  Maybe one day science'll catch up.

Well, so far I really like the microdermabrasion pads. My skin has gotten so smooth!!! I had a couple of very small pimples pop up, but I think they were like white heads that were never at the surface before, and when the dead skin on top of them was taken away, they were brought to the surface, They didn't last long, though, and now my skin is starting to look alot better.

Yah, Drs surprise me sometimes at how behind they are.Don't get me wrong, we are very fortunate to live in the  country we do, its just that I am surprised at how little they know about things like naturapathy, using food as medicine, herbs, and obviosly yeast.

Sorry I didnt respond, but I was actually away from the internet since about May!
I'am now taking Retin-A microgel 0.04% for my acne and it seems to be doing ok.
Also,I read that soy may help with hormonal acne in women because it mocks estrogen,so I've been eating more soy.

I have learned to stay away from the coffee,as it majorly contributes to MY break outs! Really bites though,I LOOOOVE CoffeeCry

Anyone else try retin-A microgel or regular Retin-A?

Ive also learned that dairy and milk can be a problem with acne. YEAST DAIRY and any other allergy type of food stay away from. Eat  a lot or take a lot  of burdock root and red clover flower and itll help a lot this is why in china they got good skin. I take it all the time and I dont get pimples at all. but thats me. good luck people!:)

Thanks babycheeksSmile

I have also heard the milk thing because (some) milk has hormones in it.
I try to drink organic milk that is hormone-free.

The Retna-A is working out pretty good for me...although it makes my skin so dry right now because of the cold air too.
I will look into the burdock root and red clover flower!

I get breakouts mostly around my mouth/chin area. After a little over a month using AcneFree Severe Treament, my face has finally started to clear up. It actually got worse there for a while, but I stuck with it and almost all of the acne is gone. I just picked up the AcneFree scar remover stuff that gets rid of post acne marks, because I have some reddish areas where the pimples were before. If you try this kit, definitely pick up the AcneFree "Terminator" as well. That little tube does WONDERS. I carry it with me everywhere I go now.

I think greasy food and hormones are the main cause of my acne, along with just plain old bad genetics.
