QuoteReplyTopic: Mohawk style hair for guy Posted: February 14 2007 at 6:38pm
When i straighten my hair it goes all strawy (no matter what I use) and
there is a good bit of length in my hair (It goes curly so grows out
rather than down.)
The gels and waxes I use after straightening NEVER hold in mo hawk style and the wax makes my hair more strawier!!!
Anyone got any suggestions please?

Oooh so you have curly hair, but you want a mohawk which requires straight hair.
all i can say is that you need to use a product that will straigten hair while you use a hair iron. these are straightning balm, cream or mousse which helps to straighten hair.
I suggest you invest in a good combo of hair gel and hair spray from respected brands such as Redken, American Crew or Wella or any other professional strength products.
You can also go to a salon and ask them to turn your hair into a mohawk and then learn how they do it by observing and taking mental notes of their techniques, and products that they use.
