Relaxer Smell on Hair

   I just had Mizani used on my hair, usually my regular stylists uses Affirm, but I went to another this time.  I like the super straight result, however I feel that I can still smell a lot of the relaxer on my hair.  Now, I'm really paranoid that it wasn't shampooed or conditioned enough.  I'm definitely going to do a deep condition on it in a few days. 

I know after you get a relaxer you have a slight stince of the relaxer smell, but this seems to be a pretty prevalent odor.

A couple of ?'s:
Should it smell like relaxer is still on my head even though its washed out?

Is it because of the switch from one type of relaxer to another?

Help please, I don't wanna wake up in a couple of days and have a lot of shedding!!!!
