help please

I`m going to be a freshman in high school this year and want to get my hair styled, but I don`t what I should have done. I have black hair that is past my shoulders. I`m 14 and short for my age, I don`t know if that should have anything to do with hair style or not, I`m not overly thin either, yeah, um so any Ideas are welcome. I also have sort of a squarish, possibly almost round, but more square face.

Highschoolgirl, whats wrong with the style you got? If you want some thing different you could try getting your hair layered or try highlights. You could get your hair trimmed to chin lenght, and cut your bangs just above your eyebrows. I`m not sure what you would look like any shorter than that with out seeing what you look like. Goto a salon and ask them for ideas. Let me know what you do. Good luck, Scott : )

Hi I,m a hairstylist I think you need to cut it shorter soyou don,t look so short. also you could highlight it but if I was you I would,nt go to light just a few around the face but look around you see what you like in your friends get some hight to you hair on top. Good Luck have fun in school it goes fast I have a son going in to 11th and a 7th grade girl.
