Hi everyone! My name is laura and I am one of those "lurkers" on this board. I've been coming here for about a year now, and have installed extensions on myself four times and on other people three times all because I learned how to from you wonderful people! So I'll begin with a big THANK YOU!
My question is, I am planning to order some Bohyme Silky Straight soon and the last time I did, I ordered 613 which matched perfectly. That was about a year ago, and now my hair is still blonde but not platinum like that and it has more yellow in it. I can't tell if the 22 or 24 would be a better fit. Does anyone know? I need something that could be described as light golden blonde.
The second thing is, I just took out an install of hair from Sally's that was put in with LG. The hair was UNBELIEVABLE at first, I really couldnt believe how soft and silky it was for the price. HOWEVER ... with every wash, the hair does go downhill rapidly. It completely lost any shine, it tangled like I have never seen hair tangle, It poufed up into big ugly rat nests whether it was up or down ... have you ever worn synthetic and when its old or damaged, its very rough and almost makes big dreadlocks? Thats what this hair did. Horrible! Thats why Im going back to Bohyme :

I wear Bohyme 613. It sounds like we are the same color. I am not platinum. My hair has gold tone. Most people will tell you that Bohymes 613 (or most 613s for that matter) are more gold tone, not white blonde. The Bohyme 613, 22 & 24 are all very very close. The 613 and 22 in my opinion look exactly the same, I really cant visually see any difference. The 24 is also very close and is only slightly more golden, and I do mean slightly. Most times I have to really study the hair to see the color difference. I can wear 613, 22 or 24 all interchangeably.
Thanks for the Sally's review, it seemed a bit rough covered in silicone. I'm also stuck on synthetic. But crappy hair is crappy hair even if you coat it in silicone. I noticed they keep changing the brands out at the sally near me.
