i know amm is a valuable assett to this board, and i have often appreciated her help,but this is ridiculous,last night i was on her web site and saw that she had a great sale going on,, so i purchased 6 skin wefts at a cost of 10 each!! what a great opportunity for me to try the skin wefts,,i then emailed her asking her if i could see a picture of the wefts and why didn't the wefts past muster,,well she emailed me baack telling me the site had been updated,, well i went to the site,and lo and behold,, the prices had changed,,she now wanted 18 dollars per skn weft,,so i emailed her and just confirmed that i had done the transaction at the 10 purchase price,,and she said,,well she didint' get it last night,and since she recieved today,, she wasn't going to honor it!,,this is bull****,, she even said that she does run specials and the price was correct on the sale yesterday,,well if i completed the transaction,, at the 10 price,, why is she not honoring it??? she basically told me that sorry, too bad,and refunded my money,, i did not want a refund,i wanted her to honor the prices that i purchased at,,, sometimes paypal has delayed transactions in the past,,i have no idea why,,but i can't manipulate the prices on her web site,,, all i do is ad to cart and then purchase,, my purchase order clearly has the 10 price,,, and now she won't honor it,,and i'm sure now she has sold out of the wefts,, so guess wet,,I"M SOL... i really think this is bad form,, why can't people just be honest,, she seems to be honest when it breaks her way but not otherwise... any advice?

This person wrote to me this morning that they had made a purchase last night. I logged into Paypal and there were orders before AND after last night but none from her. There was no notification of an order through email either.
During email exchanges with her around noon, she wrote an email titled "ok, I made the purchase" and within seconds, I received a notification in email of her order and it was there in Paypal as well.
Immediately after payment at noon she wrote to me and said that she hoped I would honor the same prices from her purchase last night.
I can clearly see her order does reflect the sale price and I wrote this to her -- and I pull this directly from my email:
The price that you purchased for now is what the price of the hair is.
CLEARLY I stated that the sale price is what she got the hair for.
She insisted she ordered last night and that I should honor the price. OK, what order? What price? She already got the hair for the sale price. AND, there was no order from last night. I asked if she could please send a copy of the receipt for the order she made last night. I received nothing back and she said Paypal must be "delayed." I politely explained that I could refund her and again, my statement on her order this afternoon was:
The price that you purchased for now is what the price of the hair is.
Purchased for NOW - meaning the order that just came in that indeed gave her the sale price.
She then wrote that she JUST received a delayed receipt and that she was "concerned" and wanted the prices that she had purchased for last night.
OBVIOUSLY there's some confusion here. Buyer claims a purchase was made last night and then ANOTHER purchase is made this afternoon. Refund was kicked back on one and there is no existence of another.
The point is actually moot as this buyer is unverified which was the MAIN reason for not accepting payment.
If any merchant has had a payment reversed from unverified buyers this typically happens several days or a week after the products are sent. We lose our product, we get a chargeback and we lose on shipping charges. I've always had on my site that "Unverified" payments may be rejected. I take a number of things into consideration when accepting or denying purchases. I'll accept from an unverified account if I've shipped to the person and/or address before. I won't accept payment, as in this case, when the account has a host of issues:
Unverified
Buyer's name in Paypal is different than what's being used in email
Several different emails used for transaction (all freebie accounts)
As merchants, we have several tools in place which protect us from fraudulent purchases and chargebacks. It shouldn't be "crap" to enlist those services when they're at our disposal.
Let me also add that this buyer wrote "i love the things i have purchased from you before.."
The name and email address she is currently using has never been in my records and I checked back to 2005. I would be more than happy to follow through on this with her and relayed so in email by requesting the name and email she used before for her purchases. I've received no reply yet.
Hmm, it is strange she didn't have a receipt... PayPal should have sent one to her e-mail address. I'd say it's her loss it she doesn't have a receipt. oh BTW Amm, your page has an error... I tried to order the .79 toupee clips and it wanted to charge me $79.00 per clip, just so you know...

amm,,i sincerely apologize,,i did not understand what you meant when you said,,the price you paid now is the price of the hair,,, if this is the case,,i think we were going back and forth,,why not just tellme,i will honor the sales price,,the reason i emailed you right away,,was because that was when you sent me the pictures,,,my email was to let you know i went ahead and ordered the hair..and thank you for sending the pictures anyway...as for unverified paypal... all that unverified means,is that you don't have your bank account tied to your paypal account,, i think you make it sound like it's some stigma,,, i have an over 200+ ebay feedback,, and i have never had a problem,, so please don't try and insinuate that just because i haven't tied my bank account to my paypal account that there is something shady about me,,, also,, my original paypal account was hijacked by phishers,and paypal froze it,so in order to continue purchasing online,,which i do A LOT of,, i had to open a new one,,, i absolutey would like to purchase what i ordered,,and if you mean that you will honor what my order was,,than i will gladly thank you and clearly it was a misunderstanding of the meaning of your sentence.

i absolutely do have a receipt,,,,i paid for the hair,at 10 a weft,that's what i was charged,,it was late last night,,i didn't recieve the email from paypal right away,which i thought was weird,but i didnt really give it much thought,as i have used the service tons,,and know sometimes there is a timing delay,,,, anyway,,i do have a receipt,,the time stamp is the question,,,but the point is,, the transaction was done when the prices were posted at 10$ per skin weft,,, i completely the checkout through her web site,, i have no idea why we didnt recieve the receipts til later,,but we both recieved them,and they reflected the sales prices.. im the one who emailed her,,to give her a heads up,,about the delay but to realize that obviously,it was a paypal or checkout delay,becuase once she changed the prices on her site,,i wouldn't have been able to checkout with the sale prices,,, i hope this makes sense.

..sorry,,this isn't clear to me,,what i took it as,was,,you were saying,what the hair price is now,is what you have to purchase it for,,so i don't think it is a CLEARLY statement as you say.

i usually try to stay out of stuff but i am sorry this time i need to say something
you said yourself that you have done satisifed business with amm in the past and liked everything you have gotten. With that said, dont you think this could of been handled off this board and amongst eachother without trying to put down amms business on here? Amm has an awesome reputation on this board not only as a fellow member but as a business associate, as does Sherri and Kristin. So instead of dialogueing back and forth with emails until you DID understand what she meant,you came on here trying to blast amm. i dont agree with this and i just dont think its fair or even warranted to do so. its not like its some new company or someone who has problems in the past. i see you are a new member and please dont misunderstand me and think i am attacking you, i just think you could of handled this better.

I absolutely did try and resolve this before i came to the board,,of course i did.. i tried in vain,, i also am a very good customer of many vendors, i wouldn't come on here without trying to solve the problem with amm first,,so please give everyone the benefit of the doubt ,, i would never just post something like this,,knowing how amm has a great reputation without first trying to work it out

actually,i'm not a new member,,i joined in feb of 06,,, not feb 07,,i just haven't posted much,,but i've learned so much,,and i love the board .. and i know that it is an invaluable source for information.
