New style, need advice

Hello all, I saw this pic in a magazine and really wanted to try it out.  The style i want is in this link: http://matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/mens/style_17.aspx?scroll=0

I was wondering if a place like supercuts would be able to do this style or if i should go to a more professional place(As long as the price is <$35).  Also, what kind of hair product should i buy to style it, the stuff they show or would something else be better?   I have a shaggy haircut now and i hate the wind being able to mess it up, so i would want like some kind of super hold so it stays the same all day.
