Long curly Hair Hell, Help me.

Hi, this might be difficult to explain without posting photos of myself but I will do my best.

I used to have short hair with my hair styled similar to Daniel Craig the new James Bond guy, here he is...

Now about a year ago I started growing my hair long.....I have very curly hair and its dirty blonde.....Well right at this point its just almost shoulder length in back and tapers shorter to the front and I usually keep it in a sort of messy style, but parted in the middle....

I recently went to a salon and got it highlighted and the stylist told me to stop parting it and let the curls flow back a little on top so I have more height. The only problem I have is that I really dont like the way it looks now....It sort of reminds me of a blonde poodle dog.....mabe like howard Stern hair except blonde and tapered and about half his length, kinda afro like. I think it wasnt all that much better before either.

Anyway I was thinking of cutting it short again, even before I had this new work done to it....Im seriously considering this more than ever now.

I would like a cool style that is classic but also, just slightly trendy....The poodle look aint it. What should I do? Im kinda bummed cause this new stuff I just did, took a major bite outta my wallet. Its too bad I couldnt make this work somehow...I have cool curly hair, but its a real pain to deal with.

well if you feel uncomfortable, you wont look cool. What you can do is just shave it all off and go justin timberlake with it. girls do like that look to. I also have curly hair, but i keep it short. I never part my hair, the good thing about curly hair is that you dont need to part it, just mess it up and let it curl and frizz, because that is the style. You can just take and inch off your hair or get a razor cut so that your hair is more manageble.
