QuoteReplyTopic: please help need to go more blonde from home Posted: March 30 2007 at 7:57pm
went in to see a stylist yesterday, with a picture an everything. This was the picture. When I went in my hair was streaked blonde (a perfect light blonde) my natural hair color is a dark brown, I had a good 2" root growth. I told the sylist that this is what I want it to look like minus the red. Really chunky blonde with a a rch dark color everywhere else. My hair is so far from this picture, it's amazing. The blonde is orange, and the dark is light...it's just a mess. When I called the salon to explain to her that I was not satisfied I was told that my hair could not go that light, and that it could not go that dark, that it has to be done in steps. I want this look, what do I do now??? She did the chunks properly, like in the right places and the right sizes, but the color itself, like all of it looks faded, almost like I got it done moths agio and I need to go in and brighten it up. Please help.....I'm goin to get a friend of mine to do it, because I spent 200 bucks and can't afford it, but can't leave it the way it is. Got any tips, advice best products.....any information to halp would be greatly appreciated.

I would advice you to use a blue toner to cancel out the orange. I cant understand why you r dark brown went lighter. Did the stylist do the bleach in foils, if so did she rinse the darker colour first and the remove the foils, if she didnt this would maybe explain why your hair went lighter. If the stylist has removed the colour and the bleach together, that is a huge mistake on her part. Again as I said use a blue toner to cancel out the orange tones in the blonde, you will need to do this in foils. then apply a dark choclatly brown all over. Please be carfull when your freind is doing this as it is a big job, its basically a colour correction. If anyone should be correcting this its the salon you went to. I hope this helps and best of luck, let us know how you get on.
