1st shoulders, then go to the chin, the angle it and have the back tapperd short, then all you have left to do is layer the sides and the front if you want to go shorter.
Kayleigh, Check out my "short hair" post in the teen hair section. I am hoping to have the courage to chop my nearly waist length fair hair this weekend along with two friends. We are going to cut each others first and then head for the salon on saturday. Join us and lets cut it all off together, same time, same length and share the excitement /tears/regrets/stories. Why not get your friends involved as well? I cannot believe that I am talking like this as I have never had short hair! I am sure that we will look fantastic!
Well kayleigh, what did you do? Please tell us. My friends and I cut ours short last weekend (check out the Teen section) and I love it. My friend put my hair in a pony and cut it to my shoulders. The next day I went to a salon and got it chopped to a just below chin length swinging bob with a side part. I was so excited by the whole experience although I had my doubts as to whether I would do it until the last minute. I will probably go really short now. I say go for it, you will enjoy it.
