Hi Everyone:

I'm new here. I need some help. I am a Clairol gal for years. My natural color is dark brunette.

I don't want to be blonde or highlight. But I have some dopey questions.

I am about 50% gray now. I had been using Natural Instincts for several years, because I wasn't that gray and wanted to enrich my natural brunette color. I was using dark brown. But then, it got too dark, almost black. I believe color deposit. So now I use Natural instincts med. brown.

Anyway, the grays are not covering. I want to make the leap to Nice n Easy, permanent color. Should I use Natural Medium  Neutral Brown #118A, like the advisors tell me?

Or will that be too light?

What if I used Nice n Easy's Dark Neutral Brown? Would that really be too dark? I don't want black hair?

I thought that permanent haircolor lightens with time?

Thanks for any help.

I am confused. Help me!

Before going straight to a permanent colour chick I'd try a quasi, they colour just as well and are a lot kinder to your hair x I've never heard of a 118A I work with colours from 1 to 11 x

Thanks, Amanda.

By quasi, do you mean, semi-permanent? That's what I have been using, but the grays are stubborn to pick up the color.

I've been using Clairol out of the box, at home.  That's probably why you didn't recognize the number.
