ok like my hair looks totally different when i get atg and wtg...ok with the grain is my least favorite...it leaves my hair sticky up like he cut it like dat to do dat...and it makes it really hard to lay down...so i alwayz get atg till this day...my hair lays down and it looks alot better!!! just a lil info for ppl with my hair type!!!

i know my junks looks like ballas cause we brush the correct way!!! and i have no clue of what guard the barber uses on my head...it's alwayz the same cut and he knows how i like it so i never say nuttin!!! but i will find out cause this time i'm going to get my cut a shade or guard higher...so my cut will be a tad bit darker!!!!

That just sounds funny to me somehow . anyways ATG or WTG doesnt matter to me (WHY). Well because after I getta cut I wash my hair and you wont be able to tell whether it was ATG or WTG.

I'm still afraid of washin my hair right after getting a cut even though i know that nothing will happen to me. I just got my trim and just used a wet rag 2 get the little hairs out

When you cut ATG, your hair will look thinner than an identical cut WTG. An ATG haircut makes your hair look thinner because you are cutting against the direction that your hair lays down. These cuts usually stay fresh longer.
When you go ATG, the clippers and guard are actually lifting your hair before it is cut. If you go ATG, you should use a higher number guard than the one you would use for the same cut WTG. This compensate for the difference in the way your hair's cut. On the other hand, WTG haircuts cut your hair from the backside and will make your hair look darker.

to do? Cuz im goin to start cuttin my own hair and
i was goin to do a ATG cut.
No, I'm not saying that ATG is bad. You just have to understand that ATG and WTG haircuts have different effects on your hair. I prefer the darker look of WTG. Also, you're less likely to cut your waves out or scalp yourself when you go WTG. ATG haircuts leave more room for error.

atg iz not good unless your hair iz trained. especialy wit a low cut. at elast 4 me cuz err time i when in da shop wit untrained waves, id come out wit half da waves i came in wit

Me too. I never wash right after the cut. I use a wet rag also.
THERE IS NOTHIN TO WORRY ABOUT UNLESS YOU JUST HAVE RIPPLES IN YOUR HAIR YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR WAVES DISAPPEARING I WASH MY HAIR RIGHT AFTER EVERY CUT
