No silica does not speed up hair growth. The purpose of silica is to strengthen your hair and it also strengthens your nails. If you want to something to encourage your hair growth take biotin.

You could try taking B-12 vitamins, I know a lot of people who take it daily, I do too and it really does speed up hair growth in my opinion, my hair stylists was surprised how fast my hair was growing the last time I went to her. Hope this helps!
They should really have help programs
for make-up addiction, I`d be the head of
it! =)
