Ok, so my hair is absolutely horrible. Its past my shoulders and is extremely curly and frizzy. If I straighten it (which takes about an hour) and its the least bit humid outside it gets huge. I get my hair thinned twice a year and its still too thick and unmanagable to do anything with it. Does anyone know of any product that can help me tame it?

Yes -- oil! I like jojoba; its chemical composition most closely resembles sebum, so it's designed (by nature) to help hair. Put a few drops of it in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together until the oil is lightly coating your hands, then run your hands through your hair. Repeat until soft (but stop if your hair gets a bit lank -- and by the way, don't worry if it does, your hair will probably absorb a small amount of excess over a few hours). It takes some practice but it definitely gives great results. You probably won't feel the need to have your hair thinned or straightened anymore -- you'll just have soft, shiny and healthy-looking hair.
