Ay yall im 17 and im tryna grow my hair and get some braids. i grew my hair a lil while ago but never got past about a 1 inch fro. once my hair grows what do i do to make it "braidable". My hair is wavy since its been short for a while but how do i straighten it and keep it strong so it can be braided.
Also does anybdy hav any growin tips? do i pik it?brush it?oil it? help!

Me 2 mayne im doin da same thang rite now but i juss started it like for 3 weeks and all i know is dont use a metal pick and dont get stuff with potroleum in it,ow and dont put heat on it  and pic it and comb it
