what color is your hair and why did you pick a spril perm and did that damage your hair in any way and where do you live. does the enviroment have anything to do with the way you wear your hair

there is this guythat sits behind me in my class that likes to twist his pencil in my hair. i guess that constitutes a compliment. my hair color is brown to kind of auburn.
omg thats a long storie. i didn`t want a perm but my mom kept pressuring me until i did it . it didn`t damage my hair ..... i think i`m lucky. lisa the stylist promised me she would use the big rollers and was very good at making sure the perm solution didn`t stay in my hair but the minimum time. it took me a little while to get use to the perm. i keem it conditioned and use a leavein conditoner.
i live in the south and sometimes the humidity can really frizz ur hair. when its really hot i pull it back into a pony. but now i wear it down in spirals cuz the weather is cooler.

thank for the reply racheal and im glad that you are willing to answer my question and i like that now the color of your hair is it naturl or is there some die to it and how thick is your hair and does that some times make it hard for you to do your hair when you have to go some where and i like the conversation that we are having and hope that this will be a friendship of hair story in the future and if you have any question fell free to ask im not shy thank you again

no, i don`t die my hair. i have highlighted it a couple of times but no higlighting or coloring with my perm. i guess my hair is average. its not thick and not thin. i`ve always been lucky to wear my hair just about anyway but never any shorter than just below my chin. when my hair was straight sometimes it would not hold the style and it just hung there. it really depends on the weather how hard it is to get my hair to keep its shape. i`m still not crazy about this spiral but it does make it easier to style . i just mouse, scrunch and dry. but i still want to get back to straight hair. actually it seems to be getting longer to keep my hair looking nice........like longer maintenace. i guess its because the perm is older and my hair is growing out after 6 months.

well when your hair grows out what is the ideal lenght for you to wear it and will you be get it cut any time soon, has your bf said any thing about the new spirals and how does it feel as in (soft but dry)(oily)(hard) and has the perm improve your hair

rite now i like the length it is. actully its longer than it looks cuz its curled with the curls it comes to about 3 inches below my shoulders. i just trim the ends to keep them neat about every 6 weeks. i probably will cut it to just below my shoulders after the new year and then see. some times i think i will cut it above the shoulders but thats kinda hard cuz i would have half permed and half straight. so i have to wait until my hair grows out somemore before i think seriously of cutting it. the problem is i have at least another year to go cuz my mom wants me to get another spiral perm in february so i`ll have this spirally look for prom. omg shes like the hair and makeup police.
i don`t have a bf. but im close to this one guy that always seems to be there for special happenings. when he first saw my hair with the curls he just gave me a big hug cuz i started to cry. then a few days later he asked if he could just touch it. my hair is soft now but rite after it was curled i had to keep this spray on it so it kind of crunched but now soft. i guess its all the conditioner i use. its not dry looking.

i live on the coast along the gulf of mexico. the humidity can be a killer on ur hair some times. my hair has been between my waist and bra strap. i had bangs then. i`ve never colored my hair just highlighted it. i`ve never thought about dying my hair. if u pull my hair straight it would be to my bra strap but the perm curls it up to about 3-4 inches below my

i`m not very loud like i`m quite for the most part. and i dont wear a lot of wild makeup. i guess my nose the boys tell me my nose is perfectly cute. i think its a nose. boys make such a big deal over little things. sometimes before the perm i would wear my hair different most days.
i`ve heard of the fishtail braid and saw someone doing it. it was neat looking but i dont know how to do it. iwas watching this stylist do it while getting my hair trimmed and thats what she called it. my mom is irish and my dad is french and indian so i guess i have this natural dark skin kinda like a tan year round. my girlfriends have to go the spa to work on their tans and i just have a natural one.
