Like many of  you  on here, I too have decided to ditch the flatiron and go  natural. I have thick wavy/curly hair. I've been on a break the past month and have been letting it air dry- rinsing/conditioning every other day to avoid it being total frizz ball, and washing it once a week.

Like I said, I've been using the appropriate products, twisting it and letting it air-dry and it looks great. The only problem is that it takes all day to get that way. I'm going back into my normal schedule and i won't have time to let it air dry.

I've experimented using a diffuser, and it just doesn't quite look as good. (looks a little too fluffy)

it's frustrating me to the point that I'm about to cut my hair short and go back to straightening it for times-sake.

anybody have any tips?

I wash my hair in the evenings for this very reason.  It dries overnight and then I just freshen it up a bit in the morning.
