If you are natural and you wear a fro most of the time, you will not retain any length because of constant knots and tangles.  The best way for a 'nappy' to retain lenght is in protective styles (braids, twists, etc.) because you are leaving it alone.

I agree with browndiva....also what products r u using? Products that contain petroleum/mineral oil u won't want to use on ur scalp because it stunts growth. HTH

I recently got my damaged ends cut and I now use elasta qp intense shampoo, elasta qp fortifying hair treatment conditioner and elasta qp for men hair gel now what should my washing routine be ? please resond ladies ( I say ladies all tha time cuz 90 % of all tha ladies in this entire forum know about hair )

Hey Fresh4life, I do not use elastaqp products but the fortfying conditioner sounds like a protein conditioner...if so you should alternate with a moisturizing conditioner. A medium-light protein conditioner can be used weekly but you should do a moisturizing conditioner afterwards. S-curl is a good moisturizer also you might want to incorporate a moisturizer in your routine. HTH
