Hi, my name is Amy, i am 25. I guess the reason i am on this board is to find others interested in hair. I have an obsession with haircutting. I walk by salons to see people getting there hair cut. I dream of being able to cut someones hair and dream of working up the nerve to cut mine. I would love to hear from other women out there who share this obsession with me. Am i Nuts?
Believe me, there are many out there like you. I posted a similar story about 18 months ago in one of my very first visits to this site. I`d say, make the most of it, enjoy the feeling it gives you.

Dear Amy, Are you surprised how many of us have the disease!! I have longed to cut womens hair ever since I was 6 years old. I am a guy like most who have answered this message. You are not crazy, you are just interested in something that alot of people think is taboo. After years of longing to cut womens long hair I finally took the plunge and taught mysef how to cut long hair short and have given many great haircuts. Yesterday I cut a womans 27" length to a 4 inch layered all over haircut. She loved it and her husband did also. I have been labeled as gay and strange sometimes, but I do not let it bother me. Its something I love to do so I have done something about it. I usually have to pay to cut their hair but it is worth it to me. If you want to chat and see some of my pictures, contact me at G1R2E3M4@aol.com. Id like to talk to you and tell you that there is nothing wrong with you. " I SEE HAIRCUTS ALL THE TIME"!!! LOL Dave

With all due respect, I highly suggest you use some strong willpower to forget about your hair for a moment and concentrate just a bit more in English class!

YOu have an obsession with the idea of cutting someone`s hair and yet you can`t have the courage to cut yours. What`s the deal here? What is stopping you for taking the scissors and cutting yours?

Why do people think phrases like "with all due respect" make it ok to be rude? With no respect to you Jenn, you should have skipped English class to work on your manners.

Hi Amy, You`re not nuts. Sometimes when I`m in the mall and I`m not there for a haircut, I wish that I could just go to a salon and sit there to see the before and afters. I love that kind of thing. But, I`m sure that the salon owners and patrons would probably be wondering who I was and just what I was doing there!
Hal, why do you engage in the same behavior that you criticize in others? You just shot yourself in the foot with hypocrisy.
Jennifer
I`ll admitt I was being rude to you, I`m hiding nothing. I was just wondering what the point of your post was. To poke fun at her? To elevate yourself somehow? Or maybe, like myself, you just wanted to be rude?
