Which is better at removing permanent black hair color, "One 'N Only Colorfix" or "L'Oreal ColorZap"? Which one is better for your hair?  I would also apprieciate any suggestions on any other brands of hair color remover that would be really good for removing permanent black hair color.

once before i used something called color oops...their is no peroxide or ammonia but some chemical that reverses the oxidation process...which allows you to color again the next day...its very damaging to the hair..the above ones you mentioned are bleach...therefore you will need someone to help you put it on..you would need to part hair four sections..take 1/4 sections and do the middle of the hair shaft(the coldest part) and then after that starts to lighten you do the roots and the ends...reason is the roots so close to the head that the heat from the head cause them to lighten faster....and the ends are usually porous...so since those two above take skill..i suggest you use color oops only if your hair is strong enough to handle it...if you want an alternative option Joico makes a chelating shampoo...it strips color  and use that everyday and it will lighten your hair...you would need to find a salon that sells Joico and buy it..or buy it with the five step that is sold..i hope this helps you out...also prell shampoo strips color slightly and so does baking soda...

Thank you very much. I have found that Walgreens sells color oops on their website. So I will be buying some of that from Walgreens soon!

Colorfix always worked well for me in the past when I dyed my hair black.
