Can my headaches be caused by long hair?

My hair is several inches below my waist, and very thick.
For the last several years I`ve suffered from extreme headaches and we can`t find the cause. They were originally diagnosed as migranes, but then when NONE of the migrane meds work they changed the diagnosis to `chronic daily headaches`. Blah! I`ve tried every medicine and herb under the sun and we can`t figure anything.

Could it be my hair?? The Dr`s say no way. I don`t want to cut it if that isn`t the cause of my discomfort.

That`s a good possiblity. I`ve heard of tthat happening before. I knew a girl in high school, who had long hair, almost to her waist. Sometimes she would wear it up in a bun & it would be wet. The the end of the day she would get a stiff neck & headaches. If you think about it, it actually makes a lot of sence. With you`re hair being that long, there is a lot of extra weight that your head need to hold up & it can be quite a burden. I can understand you not wanting to cut your hair if you don`t have to, but you may want to weigh the pros & cons. It be doing more damage then you think.
