QuoteReplyTopic: Quick Question on Waves Posted: June 18 2007 at 5:45am
Can you ever reverse the affects of having waves in your hair or is it always going to grow with waves no matter what...like cutting it all off or cutting it a certain way to undo waves ..will your hair ever grow the way it grew before training it...good looking out..
Still trying to figure out what happen to my hair since '01..

You in theory could reverse the effects of wave but you would have to at least grow a fro that goes past your wavelength and then make a deep cut thus reversing the waves you had but at the same time I don't know how well that would work.

I don't know how true this is but your hair grows the way you make it grow. For example: if I brushed my hair sideways all around continuously, it would start to grow in the way I brush.

Good info..Im thinkin if you got some serious waves it gonna be a few cuts needed to get them off..but I have a feeling your hair wont grow the way it did before..just like waves are trained to form ..i think that natural way your hair grows had a form
..I just wanted to see what might happen..I got long hair now but I was thinking of cutting it ..I got long bitch hair..so waves might be a problem and I dont wanna mess up the way my natural hair grows..

If you have waves and you stop brushin your hair for a long period of time your waves will fade away very slowly and eventually your hair will go back to growing the original way.
