i won't lie, didnt' read it -
but I do know that articles like that come out ALLLL the time, so much of it is heresay, take it with a grain of salt, even if some of it could be or is true.

You should read it. I think it is pretty fair in its take on what may or may not be true.

There's been some talk over on DIY about it, I'm definately curious about it now - sounds like it discusses a lot of the processing not just the hair origins. I'm gonna have to check it ot later.
