Daddy Yankee Released From Hospital; Ordered To Rest
After being hospitalized last week for a viral infection, reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee has been released from hospital and asked to rest. The artist was released from Baptist Hospital in Miami on Monday (June 11), after staying over the weekend, as he recovered from a viral infection and dehydration, while on a promotional tour for his latest album, "El Cartel: The Big Boss."
Dr. Javier Perez-Fernandez of Baptist Hospital treated the artist and recommended he rest while he regains his health. "I hope he'll take this week to remain completely calm and rested, away from the media," said Perez-Fernandez. "You have to understand that although he is a megastar, he still needs to recuperate his health like anyone else would."
