I`m on the hair warpath. I think my current style makes me look too young and I`m bored with it. Does anyone have a great idea based on the information below?

Hair texture: medium
Hair thickness: medium to thick
Hair form: straight
Color: dark brown with some silver
Face shape: approximately oval
Current Length: medium (below the shoulders), willing to go just above the shoulders.
Current style: one length in back with layers up the front to the jaw, no bangs.
Desired image: confident, trustworthy, feminine, sexy, athletic (can one do all that?)
Age: 24
Ethinic background: Eurasian (Dad is Scots-Irish,Mom is Chinese)
Occupation: elementary school teacher, martial arts instructor
Hair history: never permed or colored, takes quite awhile to curl
Comments: I have a tough time with anything complicated, so simple is best. I`d like a cut that offers me a variety of styling options, some of them very quick. I like some of the looks I`ve seen on Lexa Doig (actress, Andromeda), Alyssa Milano (Charmed) and various other places on the internet, but I`m not sure whether these styles would be a good move.

i`m not sure if this is your kind of thing, but your hair would probably look great in a bob.

Hair: It can make you happy, it can make you sad, but mostly it just allows you to spend some quality time with your mirror. :-)

here`s a pic of liv tyler with a bob:

or, if that`s not your thing, cutting your hair like Charisma Carpenter might flatter you.

I have hair like you`ve described, and I curl my hair with a curling iron, and it looks okay. Hope this helps!
