QuoteReplyTopic: Ideas for growing out bangs Posted: January 24 2002 at 9:26am
I have finally decided to grow out the bangs again. I`m absolutely dreading this task because it takes forever. Plus my hair gets curly when it`s shorter so here I am with straight long hair and then little curly, frizzy bangs. Any suggestions would be welcome. I`m doing the headband thing but they hurt my head and I just don`t think I look good wearing them. Plus I`m an intern at a hospital so I have to look "presentable". Hopefully this won`t be as annoying or take as long as last time. I knew I shouldn`t have cut them last year!

Also has anyone cut bangs so they angled to the side? I`ve never done that so I`m not sure if it works to help grow them out.
A wish is a desire without any attempt to attain its end.

After your hair is totally dry, take a blow-dryer and hit the bangs with just a quick spurt of hot air (on top of some gel or pomade to help it set). Angle the dryer down so you don`t mess up the hair too badly. After t he bangs have been blow-dryed straight, then simply add a barrette (if you need) to hold them in place.

Let`s see - claw clips are easy on tender headed (me too BTW); another trick if you have nimble fingers - do little partial braids close to the scalp...and I agree - a good stiff gel will work wonders...g
