Hi there. I'm a 17 year old boy with thick, coarse, curly hair. Recently I have been growing it out and it is somewhat like a fro, but I can usually control it. My problems are happening now in the humidity. I have been using gel because I like to have a lot of hold, and I like that wet look a little bit. But usually in the heat my hair gets very dry and dull.
I would like to have a product that has a pretty strong hold, but also is good in humidity. I also put a leave-in conditioner when I get out of the shower too. I also do not care if the product is "manly." There aren't many choices for men and they usually aren't as specific for different types of hair. I also don't want to spend or go to a salon, so I would like something that is easy to find at a Wal-Mart, or a Rite Aid, etc.
