no not really just shampoo yo ish to get all da grease and dirt out!!! i use pantene pro v 2'n1 shampoo and conditioner

I recommend using a shampoo and conditioner that's made for African American hair.  There are many to choose from and you can find them at most retail outlets.

no i wouldnt suggest that becuz i think they r more interested in giving u waves than cleaning ur hair and scalp. and a lot of wavebuilder products dry ur hair out
