ok my natural hair color is brown i have colored it an R-1 loreal color which is Extreme Copper Auburn. Now i had roots that has grown in so now i want kind of Beyonce or J-Lo's color.......so i was told to use a 8.1 Medium ash Blonde with an 30 developing cream. shw said apply shampoo to roots then color ..then applu to rest of hair...I did just that now i have blonde roots with the same end color--red! WTF?
What do i need to do about this red ends? Should i use toner or use the Color zap a start from scratch....??
Help.....How soon can i dye my hair since i did this on saturday.......July 7,2007
If you can afford to, I would go to a salon and see what they can do to
help. They can get a better idea if they see your hair. If you do anything more on your own without knowing the
results it could cause you more damage and grief.
I've gone through something like that myself a long time ago, and
everytime I tried to fix it myself I only made it worse. I ended
up using color, stripper, color again, and than another color all in
one day.......what a mess that turned out to be. It became so dry
and damaged it took months for it to get restored.
All the best.

listen, did they tell you tint won't lift tint? not that far anyway....you could either use a color remover just on the red and then tone or whatever...when i went to a pro to fix a problem i paid 50.00 for something i could have done at home...they put bleach on it....in text books it says to use color remover on colored hair and bleach on virgin. i know you are freaked out but really nothing is unfixable unless you just keep going....do no more than use a color remover.....sucide eve wrote up a page just about that very thing and tells what kind she used and is a wealth of info for the hair-dis-tressed. if color remover does not do the trick they have good bleaches out and i always put conditioner in my bleach mixture. good luck and let us know the out come.
