no clue what to do with my hair

Well, I've been working all summer and havn't seem my girlfriend since the end of school, and wont see her until september when school starts again, and havn't done anything to my hair, just let it grow.  I want to do something different to my hair but i don't know what.  Sometimes I colour it a reddish shade, and make it look courser (like in the last pic).  But I'm open to anything.  I'm planning on having it cut sometime soon, but I'd like to hear your suggestions on what to do to it, thanks.

naw, thats not styled at all, its the, look at the second and third pic, since then I havn't had a haircut, jsut let it grow from that, but I don't like it too much, you can't really do anything with it aside from let it fall because its too long, any ideas on what to do guys?
