HAIRDRESSER RUINED MY HAIR! HILITE HELP

Hi

I went to a supposedly good hairdresser who ruined my hair and gave me black hair with blonde highlights: (  I will not discuss how much I spen because its a LOT and Im too embarrassed to say that I've spent that much on a horrible haircolor.

So now I'm doing it all myself.  but I need advice from anyone who REALLY knows about the cap method for highlighting.  I want my highlights to be the same amount as the hair on this picture. When I use the highlighting cap should I pull the hair out of every hole in the cap or every other hole.  They say if you want dramatic results, use all the holes provided. Would the picture be called a dramatuc result or a subtle one?: ( Pls help :( (if you know, if u dont pls dont confuse me anymore : (

I hate the cap! Specially when you have long hair, or curly or wavy hair. It HURTS like a SOB to get it through. But if you want all over highlights use all the holes in the cap. Get someone to help you for sure. OR you could try the LOREAL stuff, the one with the comb.... They have a neat, one with a BASE color and a highlighting thing. It won't get the all over highlight like this though Idont' think. OR you can try foiling yourself... that would take a LONG TIME and it could be frustrating. Again you could ask a friend to help.

 

it does not look like every hole, i can tell ya that...i did every hole and what it did was turn the lady blonde.  amount = color.
