I have very thick hair that tends to hold onto everything I put on it, shampoo, conditioner, etc. So I was wondering if there was a natural or just a generally inexpensive way to get rid of product build-up? My hair also is usually a little dry and splits easily so anything that`s not too drying would be a major plus. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I might try?

There is a very nice article about how to get rid of buildup at the Long Hair Lovers web site:

I like the Trevor Sorbie Cleane Normal Shampoo:

I hope you find something that works well for you! ;)

I`ve also read about using vitamin c powder mixed with your regular shampoo...i think just a teaspoon mixed with a dollop of shampoo in the palm of your hand before use works well.

You can also just buy a cheap clarifying shampoo, too...I like Suave`s
