It would be about the same length.  The #1.5 ATG would be slightly darker but not enough to be a big noticeable difference.

On second thought the WTG cuts are supposed to be darker but the ATG is 1/2 a guard higher so it would be a similar cut.

atg higher? By golly i think not. Atleast not noticable.

Y'all already know how it works but for those who dont, i'll endeavor to explain...don't worry its not a wave connect story, its a few words from doc shock so put your sleeping bags away...

Anyways simple ATG cuts stands up the hairs and cuts them making the hair that is cut lower and easier to cut...

The WTG lays the hair down while cutting it causing less hair to be cut and a darker look is shown...

Anys in my opinion i'm not sure because the difference between #1.5  and #1 may be insignificant...if so ATG definetly cuts less hairs and would be higher...if not then  someone will have to experiment...

it's the same. atg gives u a closer. when u cut it atg it lifts the hair

well, last time i got my hair cut i asked for a #3 wtg and my barber was like 'didn't i hit u up with a 2 last time?', i was like 'yah but i dont want it quite so low.' so he started cuttin with the 3 wtg and it wasn't taking hardly anything off, so i was like 'well, hit me up with that 3 atg.' he said 'the #3 atg would be lower than the 2 wtg.'

so i think the #1 wtg would be thicker.
