Hello-

I have recently moved to Texas and I am noticing a lot of hair shedding, everytime I comb or brush my hair I have hair all over the floor, I have never experienced this before, I asked a co-worker who is also from my hometown(New Orleans) and she is having the same problem, any suggestions, I wash and condition my hair weekly, I use biolage products or Keracare. Is is the water in San Antonio ?

I'm not sure about the water in San Antonio. But I can over you a home remedy that I use for shedding in the winter and it really works:

Crush 10 large cloves of garlic and stir them into one half cup of hot castor oil. Combine well. Cover and allow to sit about 2 days then strain and it's ready for use. Message into the scalp, wrap the hair in a towel and leave it in for about 1 hour. Shampoo thoroughly with a fragranced shampoo (I use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo).

It could be the water. Try not to put too much stress on your hair. Try to brush your hair very little or not at all. It's very stressing to the hair. Use a wide-toothed comb instead. Other than that, make sure your hair is well-conditioned in that Texas heat.

Oil massage is definitely one of the best things that can help you in the long run. But at the same time, care should be taken that you have a proper cleaning of your hair, the next day because, if the scalp is left oily, it can cause hair loss.
Besides this, you should start a hair loss herbal treatment before it's too late. Herbal, because it does not have any side effects like the other chemical products in the market. But, before you start with a hair loss herbal treatment, you should take care of a few thing. Such as, you should eat leafy
vegetables, pulses, stop using hair dryers, stop using harsh shampoo, stop unnecessary brushing of hair, should use conditioner.
