I did a 3 atg a few months back. It kinda killed my sides last time but my top was still there. Idk. Hopefully my sides are deep enuff to where i can do it that low.
 
It's wierd tho. My hair looked a bit shorter than yours when i did a 3 atg. Maybe my Barber just sucks at cuttin waves because he was ruff wit the cut, went every direction, and barely even brushed my hair durin the cut.
 
Im about to try out a new barber near my school so w'ell see. Maybe my dips are deep enuff after 6 weeks of wolfing. 2 more weeks and im gonna get a cut.

my barber is good though
ive had him for a long time
and hasnt messed up on me since
he just said to trust him this time and i was like aight
if any other barber told me that i woulda been like HELL NO
he wouldnt go every direction
he would go up on my sides
brush it down
go back up again
and do the same for everything else
then he went over it a little wtg
and tapered it etc etc

WHOA now thats a huge update. Well I dont know what to say about your waves really no advice but I get what you were saying about your crown swirling. Mines does something similar to that on the leftside. Your rightside is really defined now good ish.
