ok which highlights would be better chunky or thin and is there any way you can get like a dark blonde or a light brown highlighting kit???? heres a pic of exactly what my hair is now

Highlights are bleach.  Looks like you have a pretty burgundy? color on my monitor.  It really depends on what you like...do you like the thin or the chunky highlights better.  Lately, I'm into the chunky ones and I think they would look nice just framing your face a bit. 
 
You'll need to bleach and then tone those highlights...you may want to remove the color from your hair prior to bleaching though, use colorfix.  Then bleach to orange and tone with a light ash brown...STRAND TEST!

Can I just say your haircut and color are awesome!!!  I wouldn't change a thing but then again I know how it is when you feel bored and want something new!

I think chunky highlights would be better for u.I'd do cameral color.Good luck!
