You probably need to bleach again until you get to the color of the inside of a banana, a very light yellow. Then you need to tone using a good toner. From the sounds of it you didn't leave the bleach on long enough.

Make sure you bleach to a pale yellow before you tone., like the inside of a banana. Some toners that might work for you are: Roux Fanciful Rinse semi-permanent toners or in White Minx or Ultra White Minx, Roux Fanci-Tone permanent toners in the same colors or Clairol Creme toner 323 Extra Light Platinum or Clairol Born Blonde Semipermanent 352 Precious Platinum.

Your hair looks great! Try the lightening shampoos/conditioners, like clairol shimmer lights. Lanza was also recommended to me and I hoep to try it but haven't yet.

You sound like me when it comes to my hair.If I can see anything i don't want in my hair.I'm still not happy to.I'm a color addict!! I'd get that Shimmer Lights. That stuff works great on blonde or red hair.I have red hair now & I use the one that adds gold.U will need the purple kind.Good luck, hun!!

i also 2nd the ultra white minx rinse - works great especially if i'm in a hurry!

well if you still have too much gold, i would carefully bleach those sections that are until they're pale yellow. that toner won't do anything to your hair unless it's all pale yellow. i also like to tone about every two weeks, so if it's been that long you may just want to try it again.

good luck!
