Hey! I have mousey brown hair I would love to dye it black but I`m scared of the dye not coming out and being left with disators hair (I don`t want 2 end up cutting some off) and so do u people think that a semi-permanent black hair dye that lasts about a month and is applied every month or so would work?
Please help!

I would recommend against doing this. Black dye tends to not come out, even though it claims to be semi-permanent. If you want to go lighter, the only way to get it out is by stripping with bleach. I learned this the hard way. It took me a really long time to grow out my black ends, and I promised myself that I would never dye my hair darker than my natural color (medium brown) ever again. However, if you want black hair for a special occasion, like for a concert or a party, there are non-preoxide rinses that wash out after a couple of shampoos. But the semi-permanent stuff (despite its name) does not come out. So be very careful when using black dye,
