I am 16 and in a months time will be going to my leavers ballat school, I need a prom style for it. Another problem I have however, is that I always wear my hair down because I am very self concious about my ears, I would like to wear my hair up but I was wondering if you could ecommend any styles which would help covering my ears I thank you in advance for your co-operation please email me with any information you may have Thank you.
What if you did one of those updos with the hair sweeping over your ears from the front? I know there`s a picture on this site of that somewhere. Or maybe your stylist could pull just the top layers up, leave the rest down and curl it, sort of like Jennifer Lopez at the Oscars? In any event I`m sure no one would notice your ears much even if you pulled your hair completely off them in a really fancy style--they would all be admiring your gorgeous hair! But I understand the self-conscious thing. Good luck and have fun! :-)

Hey! WELL, Its too bad that we are all self concious about something. Well, heres what I would recomend. First how about pullling the hair back from the crown (the very top, not all the way down to your ears)of your head-secure it with a beautiful barett. THEN curl you hair awsome-like all over including the hair you pulled back. Well, whatever you choose to do, (this is always easy to say from the outside perspective) I have a question- What makes trends happen? How is it that some people can get away with differences in their appearances and be "cool". WELL, its because they wear it confidently, and they own all of themselves. Just own your night, and have a blast.
My advice, take the bull by the horns (or ears) put your hair up and show them off! I`ve seen many such girls who even go one further and have it cut short and layered down as if to say - "Hey, these are my ears, I think they`re great!" Once you have got over any initial worries, there won`t ever be a problem.
