What type of brush should be used when brushing "locs" extensions??  I have had several sets of GL's and I bought their rip off brushes but I dont know if they are good to use on locs.  The one I have is just a natural boar bristle brush and the other I think is like a mix of plastic w/boar bristles.  That ones the newer of the two...  Thanks for your help :)

Hi Jen-How do you like the locs? it sounds like you may have worn GL before. I was trying to get a feel from the people who have worn both GL and locs what they did and didn't like about each method. Could you give me your feedback on your experience and also tell me what type of hair you have? I have fine dark hair myself.

i send all of my clients home with a loop brush and a pick.
the pick you use when the hair is wet, the brush, when dry- it has loops on the end of it to help brush to the scalp to prevent tangling and matting from shed hair.
always brush or pick from the bottom up

Thanks for the help.... i actually dont have the locs in (am gettin them friday) so i am hoping I will like them :)  I have had GL several times (6 I think) and I actually liked them but I just wanted to try something different.  I will let you know in the next few weeks my experience with the locs.

Where do I get a loop brush??  Any type of brand? Also can I use that brush from scalp to ends or no?
