Lol.  He can still use the pomade, in moderation, if he choose.  If Girstyle wants to use a pomade, I would recommend a lighter pomade, like Nunile, for better results.

I don't know, but  when I put that orginal murray's on my head. Then looked in the mirror it was like love at 1st site. I would not feel right cheating her on with some new dip, named Nu Nile. Say what you will, but know that I am faithful

It won't mess up your waves if you want to use it go ahead by all means the only way you can mess up your waves is by not maintaining, products won't mess your waves up they just enhance it in it's own ways, what I was saying though is for a lower cut you probably don't want to use such a heavy pomade, you might want something lighter examples: Nu-Nile, Murrays Super Lite, Sportin Waves (Black Can), Motions shine Enhancing Pomade, even Fructis Shine Wax.

I use to use Murrays alot, when I first started waving.  It was a good pomade to use with Ced Clark's compression method.  I would also mix it with Royal Crown to lessen its thickness while preserving Murray's positive characteristics.

Its not thick to me. I use a good amount that allows my hair to lay down for 3 days and its easy to wash out
