Hi everyone

I just splurged on this at hairsister.com after having a nightmare few weeks trying to get some new hair

first international wig were out of stock of all the colors and lengths I wanted (no worries they refunded my money very quickly) but i was emailing back and forth for a week or two

then I have ordered some wawa off this vixenwigs place on ebay and repeatedly emailed her about some blonde curly she said she had asking for an invoice for the lot plus shipping and gotten no response

Also tried emailing Amms(?) shrinkies.net site and no reply - starting to feel as though I hae a sign on my head!

meanwhile my current install looks terrible as it is well overdue for a change over, and being in australia im still 2-3 weeks away from this boyheme arriving!

anyway has anyone got any comments or pictures of this hair? i ordered the blonde mix shades in 18 and 20"

i know there are a few people wearing boyheme but seem to mainly be the straight i want curls for a change

thanks  :)

PS  I know you cant cut handtied but I will need to (how on earth do you install otherwise??)  if I use keratin or glue or something where I cut it will that stop fraying? otherwise what can I do if i need to cut the weft?

thanks

Just go to your CVS store I try to get the Loctite hard glue, it is like Crazy Glue, only better I think. When you cut your handtied weft, put a few drops of glue on both parts that have been but, both on the weft and the begining of the hair strand. You can try to test it after a minute or so, try to pull the hair out, or brush it, it should be completely secure!
I also like hairsisters very much, free and fast shipping is a huge plus.
If you use ebonyline, I can give you a promotion code, they are very good as well. I have tried using international wig and I thought their handling and shipping were also too long.
Oh and on your Bohyme handtied weft, try putting some sealant prior install, to prevent shedding, I use the one from Sherrie's website (hairextensions101), it dries fast.

Unfortunately i am in Australia  which means the stuff you mentioned is a problem for me for the following reasons:

No CV store or loctite glue here

Buying online usually results in a $30+ shipping fee (if the company even ship to australia)  which makes it really expensive if all i am ordering is something small like glue (and the aussie dollar only buys around 90 us cents)

Do you know of anything generic or di you think using keratin from a glue gun would work on the ends of hand tied wefts? or standard glue gun glue?

to seal I have found plain old super glue seems to make a difference on shedding, so may just use that.

good to knwo hair sisters ship fast though - are they generally good at having stuff in stock?  Im going to die if i wake up tomorrow to an email saying they are out of stock! LOL

You can get Loctite glue in Europe as well, I wouldn't be suprised if you can find it in Australia too!... Use another kind of hard glue, it will always be way better than just keratin. You need something tough to glue the ends.

i did come googling and apparently crazy glue is what we call super glue - which I usually seal the whole weft with anyway - and have found it good (plus its cheap and dires fast) so Ill use that, and then over the supr glu put a blob of keratino r something to make sure

I figured there had to be a way - i mean who installs exactly 1,2,3 or whatever wefts without cutting them anywhere...? :)

you're welcome frenchie. Super glue and crazy glue are basically the same. Home Depot has a whole section of it under different names. I used handtied for the first time on my daughter's hair last night and used nail glue on the ends.

for anyone in australia - crazy clarks have 7 packs of the super/crazy glue for $2

I havent installed the boyhme yet im saving it to install as close as possible to christmas so its all nice.  In the meantime I installed some dena cali prima thermo which is usually nice in the straight - i curled it into quite tight curls using my straightener (my tongs died on me) by making a finger curl and putting that in the straightener - which made lovely curls but the hair is less than 2 weeks old and looks terrible already.  Im putting in the batik this week and expect to get two weeks from that if i am lucky

how does anyone get synthetic hair to last? even if I am good to it It still looks terrible after 2 weeks.  I can get 6 out of 10" hair but less than two out of anything longer than my collar...

the boyhme is yellower than I expected - will have to tone - are the unique wiiv colors the same as boyhme - im going to try that next and will order ash blondes if its as yellowy as the bohyme.

thanks
