Ok if you don't know that I only use stocking caps then now you do, this method is extremely effective for wolfing and is an alternative to both the King Cash durag meth and CedClarks compression meth. This helped me bring out the last wave on the left side hairline and also defined it more.
1) Shower Brush your hair
2) Put in your product (works best with any pomade, I use pink lotion)
3) You can brush or rub your product in your hair (I rub mines in)
4) Put two stocking caps over your ears making sure it is past your earlobes and touching your upper jawbone.*
*The more hair you have the more stocking caps you add on for example, I normally use two stocking caps until about week 4. At week 4 I add a stocking cap and that sustains me for 2 weeks, and then at week 6 I add one more(total count 4 stocking caps = 6 weeks), thats the maximum amount of stocking caps I have tried to use I haven't wolfed past 7 weeks in awhile anyway, I will try to go 8 weeks and see how it would work with 5 stocking caps though. And make sure that your stocking caps are broken in, WARNING: DO NOT USE BRAND SPANKIN NEW STOCKING CAPS you will get a serious migraine headache if you use more than 2 brand new stocking caps at once.

I wish I had before pics but this was invented before I even came to this site and took wave pics. You can check the Motions pomade thread though to see how my waves hit my hairline though.

good post. ive never used more than 2 stocking caps at a time so ill have to try this. im a big fan of Ced's compression method so i hope this brings me just as good of results

yeah i know you sorta explained a method like this or exactly this in multiple threads before... most i've done before iz 3... but now i still use my shower brushing method which really helps but i think ima start rubbing my products in instead of brushing... (like you do)

I alternate between the two it doesn't matter because the end result will be the same . I personally like the du-rag better because you can control the tightness of the du-rag and there is only so much you can do with a stocking cap.
So, do you still wear durags?

It keeps your hair laid down really well, the only way to see if this would effectively work for you is to try it yourself though, other than that I have gotten some positive feedback about the results for most people.

1 Durag beats 1 stocking cap any day but with the stocking cap you have power in numbers, a durag doesn't touch my head unless I have a pretty low cut so it doesn't directly affect my progression, nice try though Dub-C

i did ur method last night. after i got out da shower i put some carrot cream in my hair while it was still wet (not damp) and brushed it with a softy some. then i put on 4 waves caps and the results were GREAT! i would show pics but i dont have a camera w/ me.
I honestly believe that the size and shape of ur head determines if a wave cap or durag works better. I also think it determines how easy u can achieve waves to the hairline both at the temples and neckline...Just IMO
