I received an email saying that Donnabellahair.com is now carrying clip ins.  I went on their site, and they are selling packages of:

Each pack contains:
One 9" Weft
One 7" Weft
Two 6" Wefts
Four 1.5" Wefts

I have been a clip in wearer for 6 or more years.  I usually make my own clip ins with handtied wefts where I put 8 ounces of hair into three 12" rows.  Works nicely for me.

My question is this:

many places are selling clip ins in packages such as the one above.    To me the widths they give you are useless.  9", 7", and 6" certainly won't go around most people's heads.  And using little 1.5" pieces seems like a lot of work.  And most likely you are not getting enough hair on the rows they give you.

Has anyone bought packages with shorter widths such as the one above?  Is there really enough hair included?  Do the 1.5' pieces drive you crazy?

Just curious!

I had a kit with sizes like this.to be honest  I liked it alot.I have made my own the way you described with all long peices.I like having different sizes for each section rather than less peices.the little peices are perfect for the sides up close to the hairline.

Those packages do a nice job but it's certainly not for every day. They're also not the most comfortable option. I wore a pack like that for my wedding, made by John Renau. I **loved** it but I would never wear it unless it was a really special occasion. Those little pieces fill the front nicely but they're not practical for every day.

Although the wefts are not as dense as the ones you describe, they do that for a reason. If you wear all the wefts they provide, it blends really well.
