QuoteReplyTopic: A Wave-Ridin' Soldier Reporting.... Posted: December 06 2007 at 3:02pm
Wassup everyone......Just making my presence known. Im new to this forum but not to the wave game or hair game for that note. Ive had waves, fades, blowouts, perms, pumpwaves, candy curls, bobs, locs, afros, twists, braids.....and now back to waves just to name a few throughout my 30yrs.
Im currently in the military (army) and must keep a well groom haircut at all times. So now Im forced w/ finding a way to not look like every other "joe" w/ a high and tight fade. So I usually rock a ceasar w/ a low temp fade just above the sideburn and a rounded line up all the way around (no points at the temple or anywhere).
Im an instructor so Im always up in front of soldiers and they are looking to me to show them how a soldier is suppose to look.
With that, it brings me back to not just wanting waves but WANTING THE 360 waves. I have been working on them for a spell and just recently came across this forum along w/ a few others that I have become engulfed in....So I joined...ALL of them.
I look forward to learning all I can from you guys to help me take my wave game to a whole new level
Thanks in advance for all advice to come and maybe one day I will be give some on something.
Soldier ridin' waves so hard they say I should have been in the NAVY...
Just keep brushing. Its gonna be harder to make progress with consistent low cuts as compared to people who can do the wolfing sessions. We've had other military wavers. I remember we have one that was coming back from Iraq recently. RT Florida Boy or something like that.

Yeah understand about the durag...But Im up in front of soldiers all day (instructor) so there's no chance for doin' the du at all throught the day other than lunch break. But I do brush...brush...brush every chance I get (and it's paying off.....a lil'). I think i have been wolfin' now for bout 4 or 5 wks also. No is saying anything either but I have to make sure that its well packed down to maintain my groomed appearance.
STAY TUNED

Durag at night and when you hair gets longer add some wave caps on. Trust me no one will noice if you train you hair properly. I had over 2 inches of hair and nobody could tell. Good luck with the wolfing
