2 yrs of extensions and New Install (Pics)

 

 

so after a while I decided it was time for something new, i took out my extensions and here is the condition of my hair after 2 years of continuous wear of pinchbraids

my hair was in great condition after the take down, just needed a haircut really really bad lol. 

 

so I went to the salon and talked to the girl about balmain extensions.  I decided I wanted to do something that would be a bit more funky and easier to straighten.  I opted to do the wefts at the bottom and fusion on top.  Here is the end result.

back: (please note that while you can see a disctinct cut between my natural hair and the extensions this was not at error of my extensionist, i asked for this so I could make a choppy teased look up top and a smooth straight look on the bottom)

 

and after some styling, teasing, puffing, makeup etc.

 

 

I am VERY VERY happy with my new install, i could not ask for more.  I think im going to put in some more pink next time and have her cut my back layers even shorter for more pop on the top. 

 

The only downside is that for whatever reason the PINK fusion strands that she threw in on the bottom with my wefts are coming out and taking my hair with it.  It has only been 3 strands and only the pink so I think im going to tell her i dont want any fusion on the bottom next time only the top.  Here is a picture:

 

 

On a brighter note i just bought some cool clip ins to throw in for fun ^.^

yes the pinchbraid install was synthetic, with plastikhaar wich is the only synthetic i really liked.  i did do pinchbraid installs with human hair too which worked out really good also, but i couldnt get the same volume with the human than i could with the synthetic.  Im not sure why but i have a lot more volume with the wefts and human.

 

id say tho if your a big straightener or heat user it is probably best to go with human or a thermal : )
