She does look better with the fringe; obviously her hairline has receded from *taut* buns. It wasn't the length, but the stress, as is apparent in any length ballerina hair.
Sorry, but I think it's awful that people in her life persuaded her that the hair needed to be chopped. She could have had a little camouflaging layering done in the front, and kept as much length as she pleased. To me, she is a great looking woman who *should* have left the salon with most of her awesome tresses intact. I can't help thinking that this cut will leave this woman feeling inordinately sad in the near future. The radical length cut was pointless, IMO, esp. since it wasn't *her* idea. Best, Bob

At least they didnt give her the tight curled to the head grandma do'.
I agree her family shouldnt have pressured her though.I didnt read the article before just looked at the pics.Why do people always gotta tell others what to do with their appearance?
I have the opposite problem.My mom always nags me when am I growing my hair longer (which I am) but it makes me not want to just to spite her
