Okay first of all, just did my first takedown/ "uninstall" ever (did my first install four weeks ago with 18' silky straight wefts in color #2), and let me tell ya, I have a lot of respect for all of you doing this stuff all the time it's a PROCESS! Clap
Alright so here's my question... I made the mistake of doing my first install with some black, latex-based glueConfused... It worked pretty well and my install kept up well up until a few days ago but it was a pain in the a** to remove... after reading up on the removing process on here I used acetone to remove it, which worked great.....  I \just washed and driend my hair, I would like to color it and reinstall TODAY...can I do that? I don't want to melt my hair or anything... I know I washed my hair but b/c I used acetone I don't know if that will react with the color/ developer?  I use normal beauty supply hair color and 20 volume developer, don't know i\f that makes a difference...... anyone know???

I'm addicted to the hair now I feel SO naked without it!Shocked

As long as you throughly washed your hair, you should be fine.

thanks!  Yes, I did fine... I used the same color I normally do and didn't change anything and it turned out a bit lighter, don't know if that had anything to do with it or if it was just user error, lol...but it looks good overall so I'm happy... saving up for some nicer (and longer!) hair for next time lol...
