i am interested in getting extensions but not sure which fusion method is the "healthiest" (GL or HiarLocs) for my fine, color treated hair. my hair is currently a little past my shoulders (due to a recent hair chop) and looking to add additional length. the hair is now in good condition but i don't want to destroy what i have w/ the extensions.
any advice and recommendations for long island (ny) stylists experienced with GL and/or hairlocs?

Fine, colored treated hair.....be careful and find a really good extentionists...and don't wear them longer than 2-3 months....hince the breaking stage for most people and new hair growth. If they don't put enough hair in or they put too much...all of which can be terrible on your hair and can cause loss of hair. I wore GL for several years, but I wore them wayyyy to long and it caused breakage of my hair.....but I couldn't afford to have them done again because of the price.
I love the tape method, but if I do try something else it will be pinchbraids.

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!
